Delhi Police 649 Head Constable Recruitment 2020 Notification: The Delhi Police has announced fresh 649 vacancies for Head Constable (Assistant Wireless Operator / Tele-printer Operator in Group ‘C’ on 22 December at its official website, delhipolice.nic.in. The online registration for fresh vacancies will open on 28 December.

As per the Delhi Police 649 Head Constable Recruitment 2020 Notification, the online registration will continue till 27 January 2020. Interested candidates can apply online Delhi Police 649 Head Constable 2020 vacancies application link (to active on 28 December 2019) available on the Recruitment page of the official website.

Delhi Police is recruiting 649 candidates for the post of – Head Constable (Assistant Wireless Operator/ Tele-Printer Operator) and Head Constable (Ministerial). Interested and eligible candidates may apply for the post through Online system from the official website of Delhi Police or can apply Offline. Qualification norms and brief information is given below —

DELHI POLICE REQUIRES 649 HEAD CONSTABLE (ASSISTANT WIRELESS OPERATOR/ TELE-PRINTER OPERATOR).

1. Head Constable (AWO/ TPO): 

Post Name:- Head Constable (AWO/TPO)

• Total posts:- 649
  (a) Male:- Open- 392, Departmental- 43
  (b) Female:- Open- 193, Departmental- 21
• Age limit:- 18 to 27 years.
• Pay Scale:- Level-4 in the pay matrix (Rs. 225500- 81100) plus usual and admissible allowances to the Central Government Employees from time to time.

Qualification Required: Senior Secondary (10+2) with Science & Mathematics as subjects OR NTC in the trade of Mechanic-cum-Operator Electronic Communication System.
Ability to type 30 words per minute  in English on computer and knowledge of computer application.

Age Limits: between 18 yrs to 27yrs as on 01-01-2020. Upper age relaxation for OBC—3yrs; SC/ST—5yrs. Ex-Serviceman and Others—as per norms.

Physical Standards: —
Male Candidates: Height—170cms (165cms for Hill areas candidates); Chest (Unexpanded/ Expanded) – 81/85cms (relaxable by 5cms for hill area candidates)
Female Candidates: Height—157 cms (relaxable by 5cms for hill areas candidates)

Application Fee

The application fee would be Rs. 100/- (only online). SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen and women candidates are exempted from payment of the fee.

SC/ST and Ex-Serviceman candidates is exempted from Application fee.
